Compliance tooling for businesses that can't afford a compliance department.
ShieldPage is built in the EU by Devspace HUB SRL. One platform — consent, scanning, policies, trust center — priced for a company that runs one website.
Why ShieldPage exists
EU digital regulation has grown faster than the tooling small businesses can afford. GDPR and ePrivacy, the European Accessibility Act, NIS2, the EU AI Act — each one is reasonable on its own, and together they add up to a stack of obligations that enterprise vendors solve for five figures a year and everyone else is left to improvise.
ShieldPage started from a simple observation: most of the work is not legal judgement, it is keeping what your website does in line with what your documents say. That is a software problem. We built the software.
What we build
One platform, priced for a business that runs one website:
- A cookie-consent widget that blocks known trackers before consent, honours Global Privacy Control, sends Google Consent Mode v2 signals, and keeps the consent evidence a regulator would ask for.
- Automated scanners — security configuration, accessibility (WCAG/EAA), cookies and trackers, AI-transparency signals — run on demand and monthly, with findings cross-referenced against the policies you publish.
- Policy generators for privacy, cookie and terms documents, built from a questionnaire and kept on a hosted page you can link from anywhere.
- A public trust center for companies selling to other businesses: certifications, documents, subprocessors, AI governance — with NDA-gated sharing where needed.
- A public knowledge base, glossary and EU compliance calendar, free, because the explaining is half the job.
How we work
We do not claim to make anyone "fully compliant". Compliance is a posture you maintain, not a badge you buy, and our job is to make maintaining it cheap, visible and evidence-based. Every number we publish is measured or attributed; every regulatory date on our calendar is checked against the Official Journal; every draft law is labelled as a draft.
We dogfood everything. ShieldPage runs on ShieldPage — our own cookie banner, our own scans, our own policies — and when our audits find gaps in our own product, we fix them and say so.
Infrastructure is European by default: Cloudflare for the edge and storage, Hetzner in Germany for the scanning machines, and no customer data used to train AI models.
Who is behind it
ShieldPage is developed and operated by Devspace HUB SRL, a software company incorporated in Romania, founded by Vasile — a developer and operator of a portfolio of websites who built the first version to keep his own properties in order and then kept going. The product is used by businesses across Europe and the United States, from high-traffic consumer sites to small B2B software companies.
